Day 1: Arrival Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and assisted by your representative before transferring to Eka Hotel, perched at the edge of Nairobi National Park. Just a short drive from the airport, this location offers a surprising juxtaposition of city and wilderness, where resident wildlife roams freely against the backdrop of Nairobi’s skyline.
The city itself hums with life and energy. Aromas of freshly fried samosas and other local delicacies drift through the streets, while bustling markets showcase colorful crafts—from everyday goods to intricately carved giraffes. As you settle into your surroundings, you’ll begin to sense the rhythm of Kenya, where history, culture, and nature converge to create a vibrant and unforgettable introduction to this remarkable country.

Day 2: Mathews Range Mountains
This morning, you’ll soar over the vast Kenyan plains and approach the dramatic Mathews Mountains, their peaks casting long, majestic shadows across the landscape below. Touch down at the remote Sarara Camp airstrip, the only access point to this exclusive conservation area, where your adventure begins amid untamed beauty. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be immersed in the luxurious comforts of the camp, perfectly balanced with the rugged wilderness that surrounds it.
Sarara Camp is a beacon of ecotourism, wholly owned by the Namunyak community, with all proceeds supporting the Namunyak Conservation Trust. Settle into your spacious, elegantly appointed tent, where panoramic views of the Mathews Range greet you outside your door. Day 3-4: Namunyak Wild Experience
The Sarara Valley beckons for exploration once more, as the early morning air carries the intoxicating aroma of freshly brewed mocha. Day 5-6: Samburu Singing Wells + OL Lolokwe Experience
After a delicious breakfast, follow your guide into the heart of Samburu culture. Here, the Samburu people bring their cattle to a shared waterhole in the semi-desert landscape—a rare place where humans and animals coexist in quiet harmony. Each family tends its own well, singing as they draw water, their soft melodies rising into the warm morning air. In the afternoon, venture beyond Sarara Camp to the majestic Ol Lolokwe. The orange granite shifts in color with the sun, casting long shadows across the savannah, while acacia trees scent the air with their minty leaves. Zebras graze along the valley floor, heads nodding and heels kicking as you pass. Rising above the plains, the smooth tabletop of Ol Lolokwe commands the horizon, offering a sense of isolation and serenity. Day 7-8: Walking with the Wildlife
Follow your guide along the valley floor on an unforgettable walking safari, weaving through the brush as the vast savannah opens toward the foothills of the Mathews Mountain Range. This intimate journey on foot reveals the smaller details of the wilderness; the rhythm of the land, the subtle tracks, and the quiet movement of wildlife. Later, you’ll have the rare opportunity to saddle up on a bush pony, venturing into remote areas inaccessible by vehicle. The sure-footed ponies climb rocky paths and push through dense brush, reaching elevated plateaus that offer sweeping views across the flatlands below. Day 9: End of Wild Encounters / Depart for Nairobi
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before boarding your flight back to Nairobi, where the vibrant city welcomes you once again. Depending on your international departure time, a dayroom at Eka Hotel will be provided, allowing time to freshen up and relax.
Later, enjoy lunch at the iconic Carnivore Restaurant (Beefeater’s Grill), renowned for its wide selection of flame-grilled meats, including specialty game such as camel, crocodile, and ostrich. Afterward, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward international flight.
