Day 1 - Nairobi to Lake Naivasha

Early morning pick-up from Nairobi.
Start your safari adventure with a morning departure from Nairobi. Enjoy a scenic drive from Nairobi to Naivasha. The journey may take around 2-3 hours, depending on the route and traffic.
Check into your chosen accommodation in Naivasha, have lunch and relax before you embark on a boat safari on Lake Naivasha. This is an opportunity to spot diverse bird species, hippos, and maybe even some giraffes along the shoreline.
Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Resort.Early morning, you will be picked up from Nairobi to begin your safari adventure. Depart Nairobi and enjoy a scenic drive toLake Naivasha, a journey of approximately 2–3 hours depending on traffic and route.

Upon arrival, check in at your chosen accommodation, enjoy lunch, and relax before embarking on a boat safari on Lake Naivasha. This is a wonderful opportunity to spot a variety of bird species, hippos, and perhaps even giraffes along the shoreline.

Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Resort.

Wake up in the morning and enjoy breakfast at your lodge.

Visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari, a private sanctuary where you can walk among wildlife such as giraffes and zebras.

Afterward, check out of your accommodation and drive to Lake Nakuru, a journey of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge.

Lake Nakuru National Park, straddling the equator, is famous worldwide for its flamingos and is considered one of the world’s natural wonders. The park is also a rhino sanctuary, home to over 40 black rhinos and 60 white rhinos, while the flamingos remain the park’s main attraction.

After lunch, embark on an evening game drive to explore the park’s rich wildlife. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

After breakfast, depart for Masai Mara National Reserve, a scenic drive of approximately 5–6 hours. The Masai Mara is one of the last places on Earth where wildlife still roams in vast numbers, reminiscent of Africa’s plains and forests of the past.

The reserve is renowned for the incredible seasonal migration of thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and their predators, forming part of the northern edge of the expansive Serengeti ecosystem. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an exciting afternoon game drive.

Overnight stay: Zebra Plains Mara Camp.

Today is dedicated to a full day of wildlife exploration in the Masai Mara with a flexible schedule and unlimited mileage. After breakfast, set out on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch, immersing yourself in the reserve’s abundant wildlife.

The Mara is famous for its black-maned lions and a wide variety of resident animals, and it is one of the rare places where you can spot the Big Five during a morning drive. You may even encounter cheetahs so accustomed to humans that they often rest under vehicles to escape the midday sun, offering unique and memorable safari experiences.

Depart from Masai Mara and cross into Tanzania via the Isebania border. Upon arrival at Serengeti National Park, embark on an afternoon game drive, exploring the vast plains teeming with iconic wildlife, including the Big Five and, depending on the season, the spectacular Great Migration.

Overnight stay: Kenzani Migration Camp.

Today is dedicated to a full day of wildlife adventure in the Masai Mara, with a flexible schedule and unlimited mileage to explore the reserve. After breakfast, set out on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch, immersing yourself in the Mara’s rich wildlife.

Start your day with a morning game drive in Serengeti, taking in the park’s incredible biodiversity and breathtaking landscapes. Afterwards, drive towards the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its dense wildlife population. Along the way, you may choose to make an optional stop at Olduvai Gorge or visit a local Maasai village.

Descend into the crater for an unforgettable safari experience, where you may encounter rhinos, lions, and large herds of wildebeest within this unique ecosystem.

After an early morning game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, depart for Arusha, a vibrant city at the foothills of Mount Meru. Spend the afternoon exploring local markets, cultural attractions, and experiencing the city’s unique charm.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and begin your journey to Amboseli National Park, traveling from Arusha and crossing the Namanga border into Kenya.

Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive in Amboseli, famous for its large elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Capture unforgettable photographs of wildlife set against the backdrop of Africa’s highest peak.

Overnight stay: Ol Tukai Lodge.

Amboseli National Park, located south of Nairobi, features a dry, ancient lakebed and fragile grasslands interspersed with patches of acacia woodland and small rocky volcanic hills in the southern part of the park. Around the swamps of Ol Okenya, Ol Tukai, and Enkongo Narok, the vegetation is lush, with yellow-barked acacias and phoenix palms creating a striking contrast against the open plains.

Spend a full day exploring Amboseli, with game drives in the morning and afternoon. Experience the park’s unique ecosystem while spotting wildlife against the iconic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Ol Tukai Lodge.

Wake up early for a morning game drive in Amboseli National Park, then return to the camp for breakfast.

After breakfast, check out of your lodge. You may choose to visit a Maasai village to experience local culture before departing for Nairobi.
