Day 1 - Nairobi to Maasai Mara
Depart Nairobi and journey toward the world-famous Maasai Mara, taking in sweeping views of the Great Rift Valley along the way.
Arrive in the Maasai Mara in time to check in at your lodge, with the option of a short evening game drive to catch your first glimpse of the reserve’s wildlife.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Sarova Mara Game Camp.
Day 2 - Maasai Mara full day game drive
After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara, complete with a picnic lunch in the wild. This iconic reserve is one of the few places in Kenya where wildlife still roams in numbers much as it did over a century ago. Africa has long captured the imagination of travelers, and here the continent’s dramatic contrasts come alive, offering an unforgettable safari experience.
In the afternoon, continue your game drive in search of the famous black-maned lion while exploring the reserve’s diverse ecosystems, from open savannah and rolling grasslands to gallery forests lining the Mara River and its tributaries. Take in the raw beauty of this untamed wilderness, with its fresh landscapes and remarkable concentration of wildlife.
Later in the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 - Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru
Depart the Maasai Mara and travel onward to Lake Nakuru National Park.
On arrival, check in, take some time to rest, and enjoy lunch. Lake Nakuru was once renowned primarily as a bird sanctuary, famous for its vast flocks of lesser and greater flamingos that often blanket the lake. Today, the park is also a haven for wildlife, including the rare Rothschild’s giraffe, various herbivores such as antelope and buck, and elusive leopards. The park’s landscape is characterized by drier vegetation, with flat-topped acacia trees and striking candelabra cacti defining the scenery.
After lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive, where you may encounter many of these species, as well as lions.
Later, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Day 4 - Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha
Depart Lake Nakuru and proceed to Lake Naivasha.
Arrive in Naivasha and check in at your lodge. Lake Naivasha spans approximately 13 kilometers and is known for its shallow waters. It is a true birdwatcher’s paradise and home to the iconic hippopotamus, with opportunities to spot giraffes and antelopes along the shores.
Enjoy a scenic boat ride on Lake Naivasha, offering excellent views of hippos and a wide variety of birdlife. Later, visit Crescent Island for a guided nature walking safari, where you can experience wildlife up close on foot.
In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Resort Lodge.
Day 5 - Lake Naivasha to Amboseli
Depart Lake Naivasha and travel to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi.
Arrive in Amboseli in time to check in at your accommodation, then unwind at the lodge and take in the spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the plains.
Enjoy an overnight stay at Kibo Safari Camp, Amboseli, or a similar lodge.
Day 6 - Amboseli full day Game Drive
Spend the day on game drives in Amboseli National Park, exploring its vast savannahs and encountering a wide variety of wildlife.
On clear days, enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro rising majestically in the background, creating unforgettable safari moments.
Later, return to your lodge for relaxation and an overnight stay.
Day 7 - Amboseli to Nairobi
Wake up early for a morning game drive in Amboseli National Park, taking advantage of the cool hours when wildlife is most active.
Later, return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, check out and depart Amboseli for the drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the evening.
