Tour Plan
Days 1-2: Amboseli National Park
Early morning pick up from your hotel, You will transfer to the Wilson Airport for your flight to Amboseli National park. On arrival you will be met and assisted to check in for an early lunch at luxurious Elewana Tortilis Camp – Tortilis is a peaceful permanent tented camp nestled within a private corner of the park. The camp has received numerous awards from the likes of Ecotourism Kenya and Good Safari Guide, in addition to a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence! Accommodation is booked on a full-board basis, including all meals, a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks, and a laundry service. The camp is open all year round.
Amboseli is also known for its magnificent elephants – a population of over 1000 elephants reside in the parks eco-system that features some of the largest in Africa. Boasting a vast and beautiful unspoiled landscape stretching from the foothills of the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuaries that you will soon discover after landing in the country and transferring to your accommodation beneath the trees. En route, you and your family will discover the majesty that is Amboseli during a guided safari drive within a kitted-out 4×4 vehicle. From giraffes picking at towering acacia trees to buffalo grazing the golden savannah plains, your first moments in Kenya will showcase the country’s rich tapestry of indigenous wildlife.

Day 3-4: Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, you will transfer to a local airstrip, where you will catch a flight to Samburu National Reserve. On arrival you will be received and transferred to Saruni Samburu for an early lunch. The only lodge in the unspoilt Kalama Community Conservancy and steeped in Samburu culture, Saruni Samburu is one of the most iconic properties in Kenya. It has six luxury, eco-chic villas designed to cater for families, friends, couples or solo travellers. Kudu House stands at the heart of the property, with two beautiful infinity pools and open lounge areas offering guests the perfect opportunity to soak up the spirit of Samburuland. Breath-taking views of the conservancy and Mount Kenya can be enjoyed from every angle of this property.
A place of endless skies, dust-red plains and palm-fringed rivers, Samburu National Reserve lies on the fringes of the vast and arid desert once known as the Northern Frontier District, whose heat-scorched scrublands extend all the way to the jade-green waters of Lake Turkana and beyond. Physically dramatic, the 104 sq kilometre landscape of the Reserve features rocky battlements, craggy scarps, dry river beds and fallen boulders rising out of the thorn scrub against a backdrop of the far-distant hills and the great red table mountain known as Ololokwe. As for wildlife, Samburu provides one of the few sanctuaries in Kenya for the endangered Grevy’s zebra, the rare beisa oryx and the blue-shanked Somali ostrich whilst large herds of elephant roam the gaunt hills during the day before returning to bathe on the banks of the river in the evening.

Days 5-6: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
You will check out of your camp this morning after breakfast and transfer to the airstrip to catch your light aircraft flight to the famous Masai Mara, on arrival you will be met and transferred to Little Governors Camp with game drive enroute. Kicheche Mara Camp is a classic tented camp hidden in a beautiful valley in a prime wildlife area of the Mara North Conservancy. The luxury tents are laid out alongside a seasonal stream from where you can observe the resident birdlife and plains game beyond. The location is ideal as game viewing frequently starts in the camp itself and there is prime wildlife habitat on all sides providing an ideal base for your safari in the Masai Mara.
Maasai Mara is a large game reserve with an abundance of animals and plenty of spectacular wilderness scenes to explore during your stay, meaning a full-day game drive will allow you to discover as much of the reserve as possible. Along the Mara River, at the right time of the year between July and October, you may witness the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra as herds attempt to race across the wide river and outrun crocodiles waiting for them to hit the water. You will witness the herds speed away from chasing predators on their move towards greener pastures.

Day 7: Departure, Transfer Nairobi
5am coffee, early morning game drive. Breakfast. You will thereafter be transferred to the airstrip for your maiden flight to Wilson airport Nairobi. Marking the end of another memorable tour. Lunch will be on own arrangements, therafter transfer to JKIA for your onward flight.
